We were very happy to resume another league tradition this year: participating in the City of Tallahassee's Winter Festival Parade! We dressed up as red and green Polar Derby squads but, rather than block or jam against each other, we walked and skated together as one proud team. We think we did score some points with the crowd, however, as we escorted our Giant Silver Skate (a converted mini-van) along the parade route. This parade continues to be one of our favorite community relations events.
